Viewers have urged the UK to binge watch a critically acclaimed American comedy docuseries, after all three seasons became available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

How To with John Wilson premiered on HBO in 2020, airing for three years before coming to an end last September.

The unique series follows filmmaker John embarking on a journey of self-discovery and social observation, with each episode framed as a tutorial on a topic, such as making the perfect risotto, improving memory and finding a public bathroom.

He strikes up conversations on the streets of New York City, which often lead off in unexpected directions, with hilarious consequences. 

The show became beloved among viewers and critics alike, with all three seasons bagging an impressive 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, where it was called 'subversive, thoughtful and superbly strange'.

In a five star review in March, the Guardian praised the series as a 'glorious treat' and labelled it: 'One of the funniest shows on television'.

While Rolling Stone called it 'sometimes hilarious, often beautiful, perpetually odd' and the Hollywood Reporter stated: 'How To with John Wilson is funny, sad, and, in the end, shockingly profound.'
