Oasis fans have slammed Liam Gallagher for doing his reunion tour 'no favours' as they he performed ahead of Anthony Joshua's boxing match against Daniel Dubois

Fans of the Wonderwall singer, 52, who is set to reunite with his brother, Noel, for a tour in July, 2025, labelled his performance at Wembley on Saturday as 'terrible'.

Dubois stunned the world and knocked out AJ in the fifth round of their bout for the IBF heavyweight title on Saturday night.

But after performing a three-song set - Rock n' Roll Star, Supersonic, and Cigarettes and Alcohol - fans did not hold back about performance, with some saying they were glad they missed out on tickets.

The slammed performance came after many were left disappointed when technical difficulties on the Ticketmaster website and sky-high dynamic pricing left them unable to get tickets for the Oasis tour next year

British rivals Dubois and AJ finally met inside the ring to battle it out for the heavyweight title inside of a packed-out Wembley stadium and, to the surprise of many, it was Dubois who emerged victorious.

From the opening bell, 'Dynamite' Dubois put on a sensational display as he showcased his immense power and scored a knockdown in the opening round.

The previous record for the biggest attendance at a U.K. boxing event was 94,000 fans for a 2021 fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.

In attendance of the 96,000 fans that have filled the stadium include Love Island's Maya Jama, Connor McGregor and Emma Burton.

But after performing a three-song set - Rock n' Roll Star, Supersonic, and Cigarettes and Alcohol- fans were left in a frenzy over his 'appalling' performance
The set was supposedly so 'embarrassing' that it made some Oasis fans 'appreciate missing out on Oasis tickets'
Taking to X, one fan penned: 'Glad I never got Oasis tickets after hearing that Liam Gallagher performance'

Speaking ahead of the event, Frank Warren, Queensberry Promotions Chairman, said: 'We are going to see something special. For me, there's nothing better than two Brits in a competitive fight.

'I believe Daniel will show what he is about. I've believed in him from day one. He's come through trials and tribulations and is going to keep that belt.

'He will prove he is the IBF champion. We've got a new kid on the block. This kid can fight, he can punch. He's got mobility, he's fast, and he's a good finisher.

'Dubois is a bigger puncher than AJ, and one thing is for sure - don't blink in this fight. I believe this heavyweight fight will be Britain's Hagler-Hearns; that's how exciting it's going to be.'
