Woman 'is dragged out of car and sexually assaulted by gang'

The incident happened on the evening of Tuesday October 22 when a black saloon car pulled up to pick up a man on Boxhedge Road, Banbury in Oxfordshire.
A number of men and women allegedly pulled out of a white hatchback car on Boxhedge Road near the roundabout on Belgrave Crescent which had been following the saloon, according to Thames Valley Police.
It is alleged, that the gang then dragged a woman out of the car and repeatedly assaulted and touched inappropriately over her clothes.
It is believed during the assault several weapons were used as the group also made threats to her.
The man who had got into the black car, as well as another man, stepped outside to defend the woman, at which point they were also assaulted.
Police have now arrested three men and three women - all six having been bailed pending further investigation.
Detective Constable Connie Palfrey, said: 'This was a concerning incident and we have made a number of arrests following this incident.
'We have been conducting thorough enquiries into this incident and following a number of lines of enquiry and we believe that the parties involved in this incident are known to each other, as such we do not believe there to be a threat to the wider public.
'We are aware that two men who were walking by and stopped at the scene to try and help, and we are aware that silver hatchback, a black estate, a red Mini and a white VW polo or similar also passed the scene.
'Additionally a small blue SUV style vehicle also sounded its horn.
'We would ask all of these motorists and the two men who stopped on foot to please come forward.
