Inside Gisele Bundchen's chic Pilates studio after pregnancy news

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen was spotted exiting her favorite Pilates studio after news broke on Monday that she's pregnant and expecting her first child with her jiu-jitsu pro partner Joaquim Valente.

Gisele, 44, has been dating Joaquim, 35, since June 2023, shortly after her divorce from Tom Brady, 47. 

This will be her third child and his first, and she's reportedly 'five or six months' along in her pregnancy, according to TMZ

Gisele was seen leaving Reforming Pilates in Bay Harbor Islands in Miami, which is her go-to workout studio - she's even brought Joaquim to an intense workout there before.

The Pilates studio is a mini-chain with locations all across South Florida, in Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Boca Raton. 

New York City studio is opening in spring 2025 and one is coming to Aventura, Florida.

The Bay Harbor Reforming Pilates location is close to the catwalker's $11 million Miami mansion in Indian Creek - where she'd reportedly like to welcome her third child in a home birth. 

The boutique classical studio, which also offers online classes, calls itself 'the most wait-listed Pilates studio in Florida.'  

The chic, sleek studio's tagline on Instagram is that it offers 'the second best exercise to do on your back.' 

Classes cost $40 for drop-ins, $360 for 12 classes, or $500 for 20 classes and sell out quickly. 

Gisele previously did Pilates with celebrity instructor Nonna Gleyzer in Los Angeles, who also worked with ex-husband Tom Brady, as well as Natalie Portman and Madonna. 

Gisele specifically worked with Nonna to help strengthen her abdominals pre-pregnancy, which the former Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast said helped with giving birth, as well as lifting and nursing the baby. 

At a classical Reformer class, students are guided through different movements on the machine seen above in small groups. 

It's usually best to take an introductory course first to get used to the weighted springs.

The classes are meant to lengthen and tone, with students bridging, decompressing the spine, and in more advanced classes, standing up on the Reformer and doing lunges and planks. 

The classes work deep muscles within the body, leading to a more intense workout than a regular class at the gym. 

There are also elements of balancing and stretching, especially when students end class by putting their legs in the long loops found on the machine and doing leg circles. 

Because it's such a customizable practice, Gisele will be able to continue doing Pilates throughout her pregnancy. 

Brooklyn-based Kate Garfield, a Pilates professional who specializes in prenatal and postpartum coaching, told DailyMail.com, 'Prenatal and postnatal Pilates slightly modifies the repertoire to help prepare the body for labor, healing, and managing the changing physical demands of parenthood.'

She also said that doing Pilates while pregnant can help reduce stress, soothe aches and pains, and foster a sense of community during pregnancy. 

Kate explained that Pilates works for everyone, as it's 'an amazing practice for anyone who wants to strengthen their deep core muscles, including their transverse abdominals and pelvic floor, improve their posture, mindfulness, and overall strength and mobility.'
