Retired 90s pop star looks completely unrecognisable

by · Mail Online

A retired 90s pop star famed for a string of hits looked completely unrecognisable with his VERY smooth features when he was pictured getting a parking ticket.

With his shock of grey hair and stubble, he looked worlds away from his time as a singer in a band, which he left in 2014.

The singer, now aged 54, retained his handsome and youthful looks and was sporting dark glasses with blue lenses as he casually slung a jacket over one shoulder.

After stopping off for an al fresco coffee at The Ivy in London, the star was left perturbed when he spotted a parking ticket on his classic Mercedes.

So do you know who it is?

Former Take That star Jason Orange seems to be thoroughly enjoying life since taking the decision to leave the band for a quieter life back in 2014.

He was spotted driving a classic Mercedes and stopping for a drink outside in the sun on Thursday.

The star was also holding a jacket from the fashion company Autograph out in the affluent area of St John's Wood, in snaps obtained by MailOnline.

Jason displayed his ageless skin as he sat for coffee, showing off his extremely smooth complexion while sat out in the sunshine.

He shot to fame as part of the original line-up of the group alongside fan favourite Gary Barlow, 53, Howard Donald, 56, Robbie Williams, 50, and Mark Owen, 52.

However, fans were left feeling gutted when Robbie quit the band in 1995, and a year later they all went their separate ways.

The band then decided to reunite without Robbie in 2005.

At the time of his departure in 2014, Jason said: 'I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years.'

He was seen speaking animatedly to someone over the phone

'I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I'd like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my bandmates, who I feel are like brothers to me.'

In 2023, Mark mentioned Jason during an interview with The Times and claimed he felt he 'didn't want to do it anymore'.

He said: 'I think Jason felt like he didn't want to do it any more. But I'm not going to speak for him. He's still here anyway.'

'The other day we were trying to work out who the best joke-teller in the band is and remembered how Jason always laughed before he got to the punchline.'

Robbie reunited with the band in 2020 for a special lockdown performance, however, Jason decided to not take part.

Speaking about his bandmate in an interview with Metro, Gary said: 'We hear from Jason now and again.'

'Then when you reply the email doesn’t work. It’s bigger than we all know. Him cutting himself off from a life he just didn’t want any more.'

'If you were 20 you would open the discussion up, but he is a grown man. You have to respect the fact he doesn’t want to do this. It was hard for us to watch him go.'

Gary also admitted that Jason 'didn't want any creative involvement' and 'wanted to leave'.
