Fans all saying the same thing about Heidi Klum's Halloween costume
by Sharon Mai For Dailymail.Com · Mail OnlineHeidi Klum's Halloween costume this year has all of her fans saying the same thing — that Janelle Monáe did it first.
After the Queen of Halloween unveiled her and her husband Tom Kaulitz's hyper-realistic E.T. costumes, her fans took to social media with reactions.
Many fans pointed out that Monáe, 38, debuted an E.T. costume the day before Klum unveiled her own look at her annual Halloween party in New York City on October 31.
Some social media users took to X, formerly Twitter, to say that Klum 'stole' Monáe's look.
Others theorized that the model must have been 'annoyed' or 'fuming' when she realized someone else 'did it first' even though she had put nearly a year into her E.T. costume already.

Just earlier in the day, Monae unveiled her E.T. costume as she made her appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show.
Even though Monae's costume featured less prosthetics and was seemingly more like a suit and mask to slip on, many fans were reeling at the fact that they had the exact same idea.
Last year, fans also joked that Monáe upstaged Klum by dressing up as a chameleon in an incredible full-body transformation after turning heads with her looks in previous years.
In 2023, Klum enlisted nine acrobats to join her in becoming a giant peacock costume.
This year, one fan tweeted a meme of a distressed woman and wrote: 'What do you mean Heidi Klum and Janelle Monae dressed up as the same thing for Halloween?'
Another person wrote, 'Heidi Klum seeing Janelle Monae in her costume hours before she shows up...,' alongside a brooding GIF.
'Janelle Monae revealing her ET costume a day before this,' another tweet read. 'Ooh Heidi must've been fuming.'
While other fans said that Monae 'won' Halloween with her costume. 'Does Janelle Monae know about this,' one X user tweeted.
Another user, once again, reiterated that Monae already dressed up as E.T. but said Klum's costume was 'cool'.
Janelle Monae and Heidi Klum both being hyper-realistic E.T. for Halloween is SENDING ME,' one X user wrote.
Another fan added about the model: 'I know she must be so annoyed at Janelle Monae.'
More people voiced the same sentiment and shared similar reactions.
'I know Heidi Klum is low key mad Janelle Monae was also E.T. this year,' one X user wrote alongside a deadpan reaction skull emoji.
'Heidi was probably so annoyed when Janelle Monae posted her E.T. costume yesterday,' another person wrote with a nervous chuckling emoji.
Another fan simply wrote that Klum straight-up 'stole Janelle Monae's look!!!!!!!'
'I know Heidi Klum was sick [as f***] when Janelle Monae popped out as E.T. this Halloween,' one X user tweeted alongside a chuckling GIF.
'Oh I just know Heidi threw a chair when Janelle Monae revealed their E.T. costume first earlier today lol,' another X user added.
'Heidi Klum after seeing Janelle Monae already do E.T. earlier this week,' one person wrote alongside a GIF of a woman snarling.
This comes right after Klum made her debut at her soirée, looking unrecognizable as she transformed into E.T. for her Halloween couple's costume with her husband.
She made her grand arrival at her famous, annual Halloween soirée alongside the musician, 35, dressed as the alien from the 1982 cult classic movie, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
The pair transformed into E.T., from Steven Spielberg 's film, before and after touching down on Earth and being dressed up by the young children, Elliot and Gertie.
She proved the Queen of Halloween crown is still hers as she walked the red carpet at her bash, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.
Now in her 23rd year, she attempted the monumental feat of topping her countless, incredible costumes from many Halloweens past.
Some of her most memorable and recent looks include her hyper-realistic, slithering worm look from 2022 and her 2023 transformation into a stunning peacock with the help of nine acrobats dressed as her claws and feathers.
